CORROLAN ACTIVE RUSTPROOFING CAVITY WAX 5L

Corrolan Active is a self-healing rust proofing wax for use in vehicle cavities and enclosed areas: box sections, sills, chassis rails, doors and any other cavities in steel or aluminium. Its non-drying properties means that after application it flexes with the vehicle, continually driving out moisture and protecting the metal.

  • Natural, non-toxic, bio-degradable and sustainable product manufactured from the lanolin found in sheep’s wool.
  • Resistant to salt, the chief enemy in the fight against rust.
  • Strong self-healing barrier that hermitically seals, so air cannot reach the metal – and will not flake, peel or crack.
  • Non-flammable, so it’s safe to store and transport.

Corrolan Active can be applied directly into cavities, or after using Corrolan Penetrator as a primer to penetrate fine crevices within the cavity.

Application temperatureCan be applied to steel as low as -5c. The steel must be at least 3 degrees above the current dew point. (See our dew point calculator.)
ApplicationApply by Rustbuster’s Pro Wax Injection Gun, Lemmer HD460, Schutz gun or equivalent application equipment. Also available in aerosol.

Heating Corrolan Active is recommended to naturally lower the viscosity of the product.

Corrolan Active can be thinned with Corrolan Turbo if required.

CleaningClean up with Corrolan Turbo.
SafetyAll Corrolan products are safe to use and non-hazardous, however we always recommend using in a well-ventilated atmosphere, wearing a respirator face mask when spraying or brushing in an enclosed space.

Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection.
