2. What personal data we collect
- Order and account data — your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, and details of the products you order.
- Payment data — payments are processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card details.
- Enquiry data — information you send us through our contact form, by email, or by phone.
- Marketing data — your email address and preferences if you sign up to our newsletter or offers.
- Usage data — technical information collected automatically when you browse the site, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time spent, gathered via cookies and similar technologies.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To process and deliver your orders, including payment, delivery and returns — necessary for the performance of our contract with you.
- To provide customer service and respond to enquiries — our legitimate interest in serving our customers.
- To keep records of sales for accounting and tax purposes — necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
- To send marketing emails about products and offers — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To analyse and improve our website and advertising — our legitimate interest, and, where required, your consent to cookies.
- To prevent fraud and protect the security of our website — our legitimate interest.
4. Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent needed:
- Payment providers — Stripe and PayPal, to process your payment securely.
- Delivery couriers — your name, address and phone number, so your order can be delivered.
- Email marketing — Klaviyo, which manages our newsletter and order-related emails.
- Analytics and advertising — Google (Analytics, Tag Manager and Google Ads) and Automattic (Jetpack site statistics).
- Website hosting and maintenance providers.
- Authorities or advisers where we are required to do so by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example Google, Stripe, PayPal and Klaviyo) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by an approved safeguard such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your data
- Order and invoice records — 6 years after the end of the tax year in question, as required by Irish Revenue.
- Customer accounts — for as long as you keep your account; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Marketing data — until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- General enquiries — up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies to make the shop work (for example to remember your basket and keep the checkout secure), preference cookies to remember your settings, and analytics and advertising cookies (from Google and Klaviyo) to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; essential cookies are needed for the basket and checkout to work.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

9. Security
Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and payments are handled by PCI-compliant payment providers. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, although no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
10. Children
Our website and products are not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
