Oil Ranges Explained

We stock several oil ranges, and it isn’t always obvious which is which. Here’s a quick guide to help you choose the right one for your vehicle.

The question we’re asked most is EE Performance or Trident Professional? Both meet the same manufacturer approvals, so either will properly protect your engine. EE adds Millers’ performance additive technology (and costs a little more); Trident is the value choice for everyday servicing.

For classics and vintage

Millers Classic & Vintage

Purpose-made oils for older engines: Pistoneeze multigrades, Vintage Millerol monogrades and Classic Sport. They carry the higher zinc (ZDDP) levels that flat-tappet classic engines need — protection modern low-SAPS oils no longer provide.
