We want you to be completely happy with your order. This policy explains how returns, refunds and exchanges work at millersoilsireland.ie. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law. If you are ever unsure, just contact us at sales@ltl.ie or on 089 448 6626 and we will help.
1. Your 14-day right to cancel (online orders)
As a consumer buying online, you have the right under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods. To cancel, contact us at sales@ltl.ie within that period and return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. We will refund the price of the goods plus our standard delivery charge (if your whole order is cancelled), using your original payment method, within 14 days of receiving the goods back. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or incorrect.
2. Our extended 30-day returns promise
On top of your statutory rights, we accept change-of-mind returns for up to 30 days from delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase (your order number is fine). Returns under this extended promise are refunded at the product price; delivery charges are not refunded and return postage is at your cost.
3. Opened oils and chemicals
For safety and quality reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns of oils, fluids or chemical products that have been opened, unsealed or partly used — once opened, these products cannot be resold. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If anything arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us at sales@ltl.ie as soon as possible — ideally with a photo if there is visible damage. We will arrange a repair, replacement or full refund, whichever you prefer and the law provides, and we will cover the cost of return postage. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods legislation and the Consumer Rights Act 2022 apply in full.
5. Refunds
Once your return arrives and has been checked, we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods back. If you have not received your refund after that, first check your bank or card statement again, then contact your bank or card provider (processing can take a few days), and if you still cannot see it, email us at sales@ltl.ie and we will chase it up.
6. Sale items
Discounted and sale items carry exactly the same statutory rights as full-price items — if a sale item is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as normal, and the 14-day cancellation right applies to online purchases. However, sale items are not eligible for our extended 30-day change-of-mind promise beyond the statutory period.
7. Exchanges
Ordered the wrong grade or size? No problem — email sales@ltl.ie and we will arrange an exchange, provided the item is unopened and in its original condition. If you need a replacement for a defective or damaged item, see section 4 above.
8. Gifts and gift cards
Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. If your item was bought for you as a gift, contact us and we can arrange a store credit instead so the surprise is not spoiled. Purchases made with a gift card are refunded as gift-card credit.
9. How to return an item

- Pack items securely — sealed containers of oil or fluid should be well protected against leaks in transit.
- For higher-value returns we recommend a tracked or insured postal service, as we cannot refund items that do not reach us.
- Include your order number so we can match the return to your order quickly.
