Automec’s Silicone Brake Fluid repels moisture so, unlike standard polyglycol brake fluid, it never needs changing. Rust and corrosion are inhibited because moisture is kept out of the system and the high boiling point of 260⁰ C is maintained indefinitely therefore ensuring consistent, safe performance. In addition, unlike glycol, silicone will not catch fire easily and will not damage your paintwork should any accidental spillage occur.

In a report from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) this says it has been proven that it has essentially eliminated brake system wear and corrosion and a service period in excess of 100,000 miles being feasible.

Automec Silicone Brake Fluid is used by the US Military . The US Military standard mark is MILB46176.

Most small to medium cars require one litre approximately.
