BOR-8 ANTI FLASH RUST TREATMENT

BOR-8 Anti-Flash Rust Treatment is a highly concentrated additive designed for use in water or water-based solutions, pressure cleaning, and hydro-blasting equipment. Adding just 2% of BOR-8 to your water-blast cleaning process effectively prevents flash rusting on steel for up to three weeks. You can also apply it neat to blasted or power tool-cleaned steel.

Use BOR-8 as a dipping solution for small components that have had rust removed, especially after non-acid rust removers that clean the surface but lack an inhibitor.

Once dry, BOR-8 allows for over-painting without requiring surface neutralization.

1 litre of BOR-8 treats 50 litres of water.
5 litres of BOR-8 treats 250 litres of water.
20 litres of BOR-8 treats 1,000 litres of water (IBC).

Directions for use Apply as an additive in water based blasting equipment OR neat to blast cleaned or power tool cleaned steel.
Bor-8 will stop flash rusting for a minimum of 14 days depending on the exposure conditions.

Cleaning Brushes and equipment used can be washed clean in fresh water.
