Millers Oils have a variety of biodegradable water-soluble cutting fluids, with excellent work-piece finish, long sump life, and multimetal compatibility. Suitable for high pressure systems, extended tool life and formaldehyde-free.
Metalworking applications often require specific types of cutting fluid characteristics in order to suit the operation Inc. method of material removal, speeds & feed rates, material type, surface finish, tool life & tool piece visibility.
The three main types of water-soluble cutting fluids can be seen above. Higher mineral content cutting fluids provide high levels of lubrication at lower cutting speeds, whereas low or no oil containing fluids (fully synthetic) are exceptional coolants when high speed cutting due to rapid heat dissipation characteristics.
Medium oil content cutting fluids (semi synthetic) can offer as a compromise as they can offer both lubrication and cooling properties.

Oil-free, water-based tube bending gel for severe mandrel bending. The non-drip formula leaves no oily residue, so tubes can be welded straight after bending – no fumes, no degreasing – while extending mandrel life. Chlorine-free and easy to clean. Supplied in a 15 kg tub.
Millers Millersol TS is a water-soluble (soluble oil) metalworking fluid with a high level of lubricity additives for excellent cutting performance and surface finish. Its tight, stable emulsion gives long sump life and economical use in general machining.
